Happy Fall everyone! I forget how much i love Fall until it actually arrives. I am a such a sucker for Fall Decor! This year since we are renting a house while we get ready to start building our new home, i wanted to take my old outdated Fall decor and change it up a little to create a Rustic Chic entry table in our foyer. I am loving the Gold and the sparkle this season, but I also love the clean white look that is always classic and goes with everything!
This Fall is a little different than the years past, I have really been thinking how truely blessed and thankful my husband and I are. Our family makes me smile everyday, our parents are healthy, our kids are beautiful and full of life, and Shannon and I can’t wait to start our new chapter of building our home and making so many memories for our children. This year I haven’t really talked about Halloween and dressing up a lot to the kiddos. I want to focus on family this year and making the most of the moment and the happiness we are living in at the present time. This time of year schedules get so full with soccer games, football practices, tailgating, fall parties, and holiday planning. Time just seems to slip away until New Years. We are slowing down and counting our blessings and hopefully teaching our children what matters the most in their life. I wanted to create a comfortable clean chic feeling of fall when you enter our home, so i hope you enjoy this transformation.
Here is a pic of my old outdated Fall decor that i just could not put out on display another year.
I found all of my items below at one of my fav stores Hobby Lobby and i believe all of them were on sale so i spent approx. $25.00.
-White gloss spray paint
-White acrylic paint
-Gold sparkle ribbon
-Gold sparkle spray paint
-Also shown below in another pic i purchased the burlap runner to cover the table
Items I already had were:
-plastic and metal pumpkins
-metal leaf basket
I began by just spray painting my pumpkins white, my jack-o-lantern gold with sparkles, and my leaf candy dish also gold with sparkles. I painted the “Welcome” sign with the white acrylic paint, then sprayed the leaf symbol with gold sparkle spray paint, then of course let all dry.
I used my hot glue gun and just cut cut strips of gold ribbon and glued them onto the pumpkins in different shapes and some just in stripes. Then searched for the perfect printable for my Fall look: Here is the the link to the Free GIVE THANKS PRINTABLE i used below.
Now to put it all together i arranged my table and hung my welcome sign to create the Rustic Chic look!
I took the wood reeds from another corner arrangement in our living room and added them for a more rustic look and to break up the white colors and light tan walls.
This Rustic Chic decor works well for both Fall and Thanksgiving seasons. I hope you enjoyed my old out of date Fall decor transformed to Rustic Chic. Happy Fall everyone, please share with friends, and leave your thoughts and comments, we always love to hear from you!
